Icons of the South in the 1960’s: Tobacco

Many of these original images were taken by my dad for his personal photo collection as he was traveling the US gathering statistical data for the Crop Reporting Service of the US Department of Agriculture. He used his own Kodak 35 mm film camera with Kodachrome slide film. He was always especially keen to inspect tobacco farms since he had grown up on one in North Carolina.
