It’s a story about class struggles as American as apple pie smothered in ice cream. On the night of February 18, 1979, the Cadillac was warm and cozy in the garage, and friend Sam’s Chevette was left out in the cold driveway. On the morning of February 19, someone opened the garage door to discover the coup de grace that the night had brung to the little Chevette. Photo by Bill Hinson.
